Cefaly is a good tool in my migraine toolbox

"I got sick in late April 2022 and with that illness came a 10/10 migraine and headache and it never stopped. I have been through many medications, including botox and most have failed. I finally saw a neurologist in August 2025 (I'm in Canada and they are hard to get into) and he prescribed me new medications as well as a Cefaly machine. I successfully submitted through the insurance that I had at the time. I use the Cefaly daily on the acute treatment setting and have been doing so 98% of days. I've been slowly increasing the intensity as I couldn't go past 12% for a long time, and now most days I can get to 26% intensity. While my migraine/headache combo hasn't gone away yet, the combination of cutting edge medication and the Cefaly has brought my pain down from a 7/10 on a continual basis as a minimum, now I'm at a 4/10 on my best days. I take every win I can and the Cefaly is an important part of my toolkit. I'm not the average migraine or headache sufferer but I get some benefits from using the device. I look forward to the day when I don't have 24/7 migraine/headaches and only have acute migraines."

"It is fairly easy to use. It does seem to help stop a headache when you use at first signs. The pads seem to last a long time. It stays charged for about a week which is great. The cost is prohibitive for some. I am happy I purchased but was a leap of faith and desperation. I do find the settings a little hard to manage."

"Cefaly has been life changing. For those struggling and think the trigeminal nerve plays a factor in their migraine - GIVE IT A TRY! Daily (or most days 5-7 treatment a week) had taken my migraine days from 20+ to 3 a month. . . Acure treatment mode provides a pleasant relief from pain to where I can rest or perform simple household tasks. Overall not a CURE, but a magical device for the toolbox - the way I see it is it had desensitized my threshold for triggers, allowing OTC meds to work more efficiently without overuse. Seriously the best $ I have ever spent and so sad I waited as long as I did to purchase! Thank you for giving me days back to my life!"

"They're not as good as expected and very expensive also very heavy it falls off if you're not laying absolutely flat. Not very happy with this one. Loved the older ones however I had it for many years and it broke sadly I had to get another one."

"So far, so good. I love how it good it feels and have been doing the prevent treatments every day. For acute treatments, I usually still need medication but Cefaly makes resting a necessity and I usually feel better sooner."
